Intro. to Acrylic pouring
This introductory workshop is for people who would like to learn technical aspects of acrylic pouring. Participants will get to create beautiful art and learn how to recreate the experience at home.
The workshop will be run by Maggie, from @artmaggik, who loves helping others tap into this freeing process and will work with participants to help them learn basic skills of acrylic pours that they can recreate after the class.
Please note that minimum numbers will apply and all studio policies for The Old Auction House will cover refunds and transfers for these workshops.
- Learn about paint texture and consistency for best outcomes
- Learn about layers colours and how to avoid getting mud
- Experiment with different mixtures to create the elusive cells
- 2 1/2 hours of demonstrations and interactive experience
- Take home 2 8"x10" pieces of art
- Take home recipes for successful ongoing creative processes
- All tools and materials are provided for this course.
Aprons are provided but please wear clothes that you are happy to get messy in anyway!
No prior experience is necessary. Ages 16 and up are welcome.
Cancellation of session booking within 7 days of the workshop start date will forfeit the full workshop fee. If cancelled by the participant between 7 - 21 days before the workshop a 50% deposit will not be refunded. At management discretion participants may be transfered to another workshop or session.
If a workshop is canceled by The Old Auction House due to insufficient enrollments, participants will be given the choice between a full refund or can transfer to a replacement workshop . Notification of cancellation of workshops will be at least 2 days before the workshop starts.
Please ensure that all dress code guidelines are carefully followed as management will not allow incorrectly attired particapants to have access to the studio spaces at The Old Auction House which may result in any fees being forfeited. Please note that even when visiting the studios these dress codes will still apply.
